Couture 2019: a breathtaking show!
Thanks to the contributions of our generous sponsors, to Madame Bezançon and her dedicated team of students. We were able to present a stunning show in support of Redress, and their goal of sustainable fashion.
The night covered everything, from elegant evening gowns and wedding dresses, to chic casual wear, from innovative student designer lines to amazing student performances.
Once again we were able to showcase the outstanding work of FIS art students, through the iconic Les Trophées De La Mode, the wearable art competition, where we were transported into each individual's own world of “colour vision” this year’s theme. A huge congratulations to our winners!
The awards go to:
For the Best Fashion Designer: Lucy Hung and Alice Darbon, modelled by Lucy Hung
For the first runner up: Clémentine Andrau, modelled by Alice Andrau
For the second runner up: Zoe Kwok and Anannya Dixit, modelled by Zoe Kwok
For the best look: Léa Chaix, modelled by Jeanne Taton
For the Special Jury Award: Eva Ritz and Valentine Couble, modelled by Eva Ritz
And finally, our Young Promising Designer, Léo Wygas, modelled by Capucine Baniol!
All awards are chosen by our esteemed judges, Aanchal Wadhwani, Aziyadé Delannoy and Miu Wong. Assisting the wearable art competition were talented makeup artists from the Makeup Art Academy Paris, who created unique looks for every dress.
