3rd place for FIS at the 6th CAPN, Shanghai

A team of 27 swimmers from FIS Hong Kong had the opportunity to represent their school in Shanghai at the 6th Asian Swimming Competition (CAPN).

Our team needed to live up to the fabulous organisation of this competition.

13 schools from the region and almost 350 swimmers competed for 4 days in the sun.

Out team put in great performances, taking the lead through Adlan H. in ‘Avenir garçon’; Kayleig E. in ‘Benjamine’; Paul H. and Emeric P. in ‘Benjamin’; Alice I. in ‘Minime fille’ and Eden N. D. in ‘Minime garçon’. We lost points in the ‘jeune’ age group to the brilliant delegations from Sydney (2nd) and Singapore (1st).

The behaviour of our swimmers was exemplary; they showed sportsmanship and were competitive respecting the rules of fair play and ensuring a fantastic atmosphere!

A huge ‘Congratulations’ to our 27 swimmers and a big thank you to the many parents who came to support us.

You proudly wore the colours of FIS!
