#1 Wellness Programme – Conference with Dr Abraham : Parenting Global Kids in the 21st Century

For this first edition, Dr Anisha Abraham, pediatrician and teen health specialist, will address the following question:

How can we help our global kids to thrive in our busy, fast-paced world?

The following hot topics will be discussed:

  • Cultivating a healthy approach to screen time and social media use 
  • Supporting cross-cultural kids by building identity and belonging
  • Creating a personal toolkit to manage stress and anxiety
  • Handling failure and building resilience

2 sessions are scheduled:

Thursday 26 September from 6.30pm to 8.30pm

and Friday 27 September from 8.30am to 10.30am

Tseung Kwan O – Canteen

About Dr Anisha Abraham:

Dr Anisha Abraham, MD, MPH is a pediatrician and teen health specialist based in Amsterdam, Netherlands and on faculty at the University of Amsterdam and Georgetown University Hospital in Washington, DC. She previously lived in Hong Kong and was on faculty at Chinese University of Hong Kong. Dr Abraham leads workshops and seminars for teen, parents and schools using her 25 years of global experience as a practising physician, public health researcher, and educator. She is currently writing a book on Raising Global Teens.
