Issue 47: 8/12/2023

As part of our 60th anniversary celebrations, we had the honour of hosting a captivating conference by M. François Drémeaux, an historian and former FIS teacher, delving into the fascinating tapestry of our school’s past six decades. The conference was an emotional journey through time, unveiling the stories, achievements, and cherished memories that have shaped our school into what it is today.

We know not everyone could attend this remarkable event, which is why we have exclusive pictures and a full recording of the conference, ready to be unveiled to our community.

Did you ever wonder when our Jardine’s Lookout Campus was built? Or when our school was named after the esteemed Victor Segalen? Or perhaps when we became the first international school in Hong Kong to offer the IB and mandarin classes? If you find yourself uncertain or even if you think you know, this video is for you!

This recording is a treasure trove of historical insights, a chance to relive the memories and stories that have shaped our community over the past 60 years. Whether you’re an alumnus, a current student, or a member of our dedicated staff, this video is a must-watch!
