French Stream Primary Update

It’s now been a week since the children returned to school. We’re delighted to welcome them to our three campuses. This back-to-school season is a very special one. In fact, it’s the first time that our Chai Wan school has been entirely dedicated to our kindergarten classes. It’s the first time that Jardine’s students from CP to CM2 are all in completely renovated classrooms. And last but not least, it’s a festive start to the new school year, as we continue to celebrate the 60th anniversary of our school until December.

Here’s some important information:

Back-to-school parent-teacher meetings :

We’re delighted to welcome you to our campuses this week for the year’s presentation by your children’s teachers. This will be an opportunity for the teachers to explain how the class works and answer any questions you may have. We hope to see many of you there!

These meetings take place on campus in the classroom at 5.30pm.

Health Information on the Parent Portal

If you are a new parent at FIS, please fill in your child’s health details.

If you were already at FIS last year, even if there are no changes to report in this section for your child, you must still validate the old medical information so that the health department can access it.

What is a relay parent?

Mission: 

• Pass on parents’ suggestions and questions to the teacher;
• Encourage families to contact the teacher in the event of a problem;
• Convey urgent messages from school/teacher to parents;
• Help the teacher organize class outings and activities;
