ADN-AEFE: Following the international school exchange programme in the French school system

Issue 24: 31/3/2023

Following the article written by our Principal to present ADN-AEFE to our entire community last October, we are pleased to inform you that 8 of our Seconde students are participating in this exchange programme this year.

By attending school for a few weeks in another French high school around the world, these students will have the opportunity to enrich their educational experience by discovering another country and another culture, as well as by being immersed in a new family, school and language environment. These exchanges are done in pairs: the students are together successively in the schools and the host families.

The destinations of our students this year are the French high schools of Amman, Bilbao, Brussels, Ho Chi Minh City, Kuala Lumpur, Pondicherry and Tokyo.

Since the beginning of March, four of our students have already been welcomed by their host families and are continuing their education in their partner’s school. Here at FIS Hong Kong, we have been looking forward to the presence of three students from other participating schools (see photo below). The remaining exchanges will take place between now and the end of the school year.

This programme is led by the Orientation and Examination Department and is managed by the AGORA ADN referent of FIS Hong Kong, Mrs. Geneviève Du Sault (gdusault@g.lfis.edu.hk).
