Bronze Medal: HKOI 2023
A dozen students (high school students) took part in the preparation for the very demanding Hong Kong Olympiad in Informatics between mid-October and early November 2022.
At the end of the Heat Event (selection test), one of our candidates managed to qualify for the final, which is a first for FIS in the three times that we have participated in this event.
Leopold CAMSING, a student of the 2nde B class, did not stop there, as he then achieved a first class performance by reaching the podium, winning a bronze medal. A big congratulations to him for this success which also allows FIS to be part of the final list of winners of this high level competition.
We would also like to congratulate all the students who took part in the preparation sessions in a diligent and committed manner, thus creating a work atmosphere conducive to learning and success.
The awards ceremony is being held this Friday, 24th February in Shatin on the CUHK campus.
