Happy Thanksgiving from Reception!

In Reception we talk a lot about international mindedness and this week was a perfect example of this. We had one of our parents in class to talk about Thanksgiving and how they celebrate the festival in their family. They brought in a pumpkin too, which turned into our thankful pumpkin. We wrote down things we are thankful for on paper and used to decorate the pumpkin. It’s important that our children learn about a wide range of festivals and celebrations from around the world and within our school community.
