In the French stream of FIS, you obtain the International French Baccalaureate (BFI).
With the BFI, you can go anywhere in the world.
At the beginning of the 2022 school year, the LFI has obtained the agreement of the AEFE to transform the OIB section into the BACCALAUREAT FRANCAIS INTERNATIONAL (BFI) for the 2023 session of the baccalaureate for students in the French secondary program.
Mrs. McCarthy, head of the SIA – OIB – BFI department, and Mrs. Coupat, Deputy Principal, attended a seminar in Paris on the new BFI, which will be implemented in September for Première students.
They were able to share the philosophy of this new pedagogical approach, and to participate in the exchanges concerning the implementation of the new programs and the examination methods.
This possibility offered to FIS students allows them to put forward their bilingualism, to deepen their linguistic skills and to develop essential work methods based on autonomy and collaboration.
This section will be an undeniable asset for their post-baccalaureate orientation and for their future life as a global citizen.
