Dear Parents and Carers,

Welcome back: Firstly, can I extend a very warm welcome to all our new and existing families at FIS JL campus, CW Campus and TKO campus. The students look smart in their uniforms and ready to engage in learning.

Thank you for your presence at all the welcome meetings. Parent Information on the Portal (Mylfis IS Primary): The parent information page for primary contains: all our parent handbooks, FLE Handbook, all the parent welcome meeting slides, all IS Primary policies and information about Wordsmith English, Abacus Maths, Bug Clubs and IEYC/IPC.

Student well-being is very important. We have trained counsellors from St. John’s to ensure our students are supported. This year our councillors are Meeta Gupta and Konstantin Goldau. This term our staff training focuses on wellbeing. We will introduce a new program called Zone's of Regulation which will enable our students and community to develop self-regulation and emotional understanding. There will be further information to follow.

This term, we will be hosting workshops for parents on both the IEYC and IPC at all campuses. Google sign-up forms with locations and times will be sent out well in advance.

JL IPC workshop Tuesday 11th October
TKO IPC and IEYC workshops Thursday 13th October
CW IEYC workshop Wednesday 19th October

In Early Years parents joined us for CNY activities to link with @The_IEYC unit, Celebrations, this week we focused on CNY. Learning about traditions and celebrations that families celebrate helps children to gain an understanding of who they are and where they fit into our world
