Workshops with Antonin Atger on TKO and BPR campus

Issue 02: 23/9/2022 Blue Pool Road, Tseung Kwan O News (Reflections and Achievements) 4ème, 3ème

Our librarians from TKO and BPR organised workshops for our French Stream students of 4ème and 3ème with Antonin Atger, author of the dystopia Interfeel.

As part of their French class, students were given writing tips and explanations on how to build a story and what it is like to work as an author.

Other students met with him as part of their Technology class to talk about infox, social networks and their risks. Antonin Atger introduced some concepts that we need to be aware of in order to recognise their mechanism: the way our brain constantly interprets reality, our intuitive or analytical reasoning, as well as the cognitive bias that appeals to our emotions and the preference bias. They ended up talking about the purpose of social networks and the importance of confirmation bubbles.
