This year, the SCHOOL FAIR will take place on Saturday 12th May.
The School Fair is a very important event for the school. It is a lively and festive event for both children and parents, and it is also a moment to raise funds to improve the School facilities. Thanks to your generous donation and your participation at the School Fair 2011, we were able to raise more than 235,000 HKD which were used to purchase new playground equipment and artificial turf for the Primary School.
We would like to draw your attention to ways you can help make this year's School Fair a big success!!
First of all, we count on you to make your way to Jardine's on 12 May. Activities like raffles, dance show, games for children and adults, only to mention a few, are on our programme. In our famous Café Jardine's, or at the BBQ you will be able to enjoy good food and company.
For this event to be a success, we also need:
- your generosity: donate your new or gently used items such as books, games, DVD, CD, household goods, computer games or sports equipment. Please leave them in the boxes available at Chai Wan, Jardine's and Blue Pool Road.
If you know a corporate sponsor who are willing to donate prizes for the raffles, please get in touch with Han Nguyen, hnguyen@lfis.edu.hk
- your culinary talents: Prepare your lovely cakes and cookies that will be sold at Café Jardine's
- your help: Sign up with your class mum or your parent representative or directly at kermesse@lfis.edu.hk to help install the games stalls the day before (Friday, 11th May from 2pm - 5.30pm) and to participate in the class's stall (Saturday, 12 May from 11am - 6pm).
