Netball has been played at the school level for many years in Hong Kong, and we are pleased to again offer the opportunity for students to train, play and represent the school in this fast paced sport which is designed around the concepts of skill development, teamwork, physical fitness, competition play and fun.
Following the fantastic development of the netball within the school the last few years, for the 2012/2013 school year, we are continuing to offer netball as a representative sport at FIS for all girls. Registration and payment must be made through secondary Vie Scolaire. For more information, please contact the PE teacher in charge of the sport, Mrs. Ferrick, at pferrick@lfis.edu.hk.

National/Regional Representatives:
Congratulations to Ella Cairns and Gina Henderson on their selection in the U14 Regional Academy. Thirty players from throughout Hong Kong have been selected for this.
Congratulations also to Alexandra Allum-Pearce and Charlotte Thompson on their selection to travel with the Hong Kong Junior team to Perth for a training camp at the end of March.

Training day: Tuesday (September - December only) and Wednesday (September - March) 5:45pm-7:15pm in BPR Gymnasium.

Junior Netball (F1–F3 / 6ème–4ème)
- Players in C Grade for HKSSF age categories
- C grade, U14, U13 and U12 year teams entered in HKSSF schools netball leagues and tournaments which run from January through to Easter. There will be 4 teams in total.
Training day: Wednesday afternoons 1.30-3.30pm at Wong Chuk Hang Hard Courts September until April. A bus leaves FIS at 1.30pm, returning to school by 3.30pm.
Games for U14 and C grade team on Wednesday afternoons 4pm-5pm (with one or two games / tournaments throughout the season on Monday afternoons) from Feb - April.
Other teams have 2-3 tournaments on Monday afternoons (4-6pm) during Feb - April.
Coaches: Deborah Thompson, Elise Daly, Michelle Cairns with assistance from Stephanie Cuvelier.
