New structure of the Oriental Section at the FIS since 2011
The Oriental Section in FIS begins from 4ème. This Section is open to students who have been learning Chinese since 6ème.
In 4ème and 3ème, students in the Oriental Section will have four hours of language lessons and one hour of civilisation (calligraphy, IT applied to Chinese and introduction to the History of China) weekly.
In Seconde, Première and Terminale, there will be 3 hours of language and 2 hours of DNL (Discipline Non Linguistique/ non-linguistic subject) on the history and geography of China in Chinese.
The DNL is evaluated through a specific oral test in the French baccalaureate examination.
