Kindergarten

Reception Class

(Children must be 4 years old at the start of the school year)

Introduction to French by a French speaking instructor (small groups, 3 sessions of 45 minutes per week).

  • Introduction to music by an experienced instructor (45 minutes per week)
  • Program of the primary is introduced
  • Introduction to computer
  • Work with a science instructor

Elementary

Primary 1

  • Learning of French (small groups, 3 times 45 minutes per week)
  • Swimming lessons given by an experienced instructor
  • Work with a science teacher (45 minutes per week)
  • Work with a music teacher (45 minutes per week)
  • Introduction to New Technologies (1 time 30 minutes per week)

Primary 2

  • Learning of French (small groups, 3 times 45 minutes per week)
  • Swimming lessons given by an experienced instructor
  • Work with a music teacher (45 minutes per week)
  • Work with a science teacher (45 minutes per week)
  • Use of New Technologies with qualified teachers (English speaking or French speaking) for projects developed with the class teacher
  • Introduction to Mandarin (1x30 mn per week)

Primary 3

  • Learning of French (small groups, 3 times 45 minutes per week)
  • Reinforced French Option:
    • Teaching of French at an appropriate level with a French-speaking teacher (3 times 45 minutes) at the same time as other P3 students, and teaching of a part of the P3 curriculum, 2 times 45 minutes, in French.
  • Swimming lessons given by an experienced instructor
  • Work with a science teacher (45 minutes per week)
  • Work with a music teacher (45 minutes per week)
  • Mandarin lessons with an experienced teacher (45 minutes once a week)
  • Use of New Technologies with qualified teachers (English speaking or French speaking) for projects developed with the class teacher

Primary 4

  • Learning of French (small groups, 3 times 45 minutes per week)
  • Reinforced French Option:
    • Teaching of French at an appropriate level with a French-speaking teacher (3 times 45 minutes) at the same time as other P4 students, and teaching of French as part of the P4 Social Studies curriculum, 2 times 45 minutes.
